Timbre Lodge is owned and operated by native Texans, Stephen and Sue Ann Meyer.
Stephen is a producer and the Timbre Lodge in-house
engineer. He has performed and recorded as a professional percussionist
for 30 years, and is also a songwriter. In 1985, he earned a degree in
audio engineering, and has since then produced, arranged, engineered,
mixed, and mastered on numerous album, demo, and jingle projects in studios
from Nashville to New York to Austin. With fine-tuned skills and a passion
for music, what he does best, and enjoys most, is helping musicians capture
their unique sound, which will ultimately define them as artists and eminently
distinguish their recording projects.
Sue Ann has a BBA degree, has studied voice, piano, organ and music theory, and has toured internationally with gospel singing groups. She is a musician for hire, adding orchestral arrangements, keyboard sampled instruments, organ, and harmony vocals when needed on Timbre Lodge projects.
